Follow these instructions to add your WU Gmail account to the Mail app on iOS.

NOTE: You can add your WU Gmail account via the Gmail app for iOS, however, this requires the installation of a Google Workplace profile. To add the Google Workplace profile to your device, check out the following guide: Adding Google Workspace Profiles to Personal Devices.

• Go to Settings > General > About and check the Software Version. Your version of iOS should be newer than 14.1. If it isn’t, you will need to upgrade your OS yourself by going to Settings > General > Software Update. The Technology Department cannot assist you with this.

If your device meets the minimum requirements, follow the steps below.

1. Go to Settings > Mail > Accounts > Add Account.
2. Select Google from the list.
3. You will see a popup telling you that Settings Wants to use google.com to Sign In. Select Continue.
4. A Google sign in window will appear. Enter your full WU email address and select Next.
5. Enter your Gmail password and select Next.
6. Google will ask which applications you want to use with this account (Mail, Contacts & Calendars are selected by default). Tap Save in the top right corner.
7. Open the Mail app on your phone. Your email should download shortly.

NOTE: During the sign in process, you may see a page with the heading “iOS wants to Access your Google Account“, select Allow to continue with adding your WU Gmail to your iOS device.
